Poems as clues in Edgar Allen’s mystery

Edgar Allan’s Official Crime Investigation Notebook

by Mary Amato

Slurpy the fish is fishnapped from Edgar Allan’s classroom, and he is on the case. The only problem is Patrick is also. Patrick, of course, has more going for him including having a scientist dad.

All of the students want to know what happened and to peak their interest, the kidnapper has left a poem as a clue. As more things go missing, the hunt heats up and two teachers encourage the students to stay on the case.

Good story with a mystery and friendship.   Excellent for the middle grade reader.
