Dreamer, Wisher, Liar is magical

Dreamer, Wisher, Liar

by Charise Mericle Harper

Ash is prepared for the worst summer of her life.  Her time at camp with her best friend, Lucy, is being cut short by her having to take care of a summer guest, seven-year-old Claire.  Plus the fact that Ash’s best friend won’t be back once camp is over because her family is moving.  What makes it even harder is that Ash suffers from face blindness (insert long medical term here), which keeps her from recognizing people.  Lucy is her go-to person.  She’s the one who tells Ash whether she knows someone, whether to say hi, or whether to keep on walking.

But things aren’t always what they appear to be.  Ash discovers a magic Wish jar in her basement.  That and some unexpected surprises from Claire may make this a very important summer for Ash.

Good story.  Although, it was a bit predictable.  Several of the surprises weren’t surprises, but maybe they are to tweens.
