Tethers transports reader into Victorian adventure

Tethers (The Tethers Trilogy #1)
by Jack Croxall

An adventure in the Victorian era, Karl and Ester are drawn into a mysterious journey through a journal which seems to tell of some future happenings, in fact it mentions them specifically.

These two teens are attracted to it because they feel this might be their only time to have an adventure outside their tiny town. They don’t want to feel as if life has passed them by without trying anything new (which seems to be a bit mature for them). But it turns out to be an interesting journey. There is danger. There is excitement.

Good for fourth grade and up.
