Ophelia and the Marvelous Boy

by Karen Foxlee

Ophelia believes in science, in things that can be proven with research and testing, but her beliefs are put to the test when she discovers a boy who has been locked away in a museum for hundreds of years.

Ophelia, her sister, and their father are still grieving for their mother when their dad takes a short-term job at a museum in a city that always has snow.  Their dad believes that the change will be good for them all.  When Ophelia finds a boy without a name locked away by the Snow Queen, she begins a quest that will test her strength, her beliefs, and could make or break her remaining family.

This is a fairytale within a modern story.  It is well told and good for fourth grade and up.
