Before the PBS series, there was the book, and the book is fantastic. Just because your children have seen the show, don’t deny them the pleasure of this book. Imaginative, funny, good drawings. (And fun to spot things in the pictures – I’m not going to give it away)
George wakes up tiny – the size of a mouse – but still has to get on with his day. See how he copes.
Great for the younger child, but I read it to my fourth, fifth, and sixth graders, and they laughed with it.
